Pick a few keywords highly related to your blog with high monthly search volume and relatively low advertiser competition. The whole point of doing this is to get keywords that will help your blog show up higher in search engine results. If your blog shows up high in search engine results, more people find your blog, which means more people click on your ads, which means more money for you. If you neglect to try to increase your blog’s ranking in the search engines, very few (if any) people will visit your blog meaning very little or no money for you.
