1. AdSense

Google’s ads, called AdSense, is the obvious choice for many when it comes to making money online. And even with a free blog from Blogger.com, you can put AdSense on it and thereby make a profit.

Every time one of your readers clicks on an AdSense ad, you make money. How much you make from a click depends on different factors – ranging from the popularity of the keyword that instigated the ad, to how relevant your site is for the ad and how much money you make on other sites with AdSense.

One of the secrets behind making readers click on an ad, is to blend it in with the text, and keep the ads above the fold.

2. Paid Reviews

If you sign up to do paid reviews (for instance with ReviewMe.com), you will either receive demands for reviews in your mail box, or you can go and look them up for yourself.

Some people make thousands of dollars from paid reviews each month – others just make a few dollars. This depends very much on the popularity of the blog.

You should always write your sincere opinion, and never hide things or lie when you write a paid review. Always be trustworthy with your readers.

3. Affiliate Products

Use your blog to promote other people’s products, and make money from the sales you promote. You can find affiliate products in many places, one of the biggest operations being ClickBank.com.

Again, be trustworthy! Don’t promote something you don’t like or which you don’t believe is of high quality.

5. Your Own Products

If you’re clever or knowledgeable about something, why not make a movie or write about it yourself? You can sell all types of products from your blog. The easiest products to deliver are electronic goods, like programs, e-books, pictures, videos etc. But you can also sell products that have to be physically delivered.

6. Link Bait

If you use your blog as link bait you don’t make money directly, but indirectly.

Write some interesting blog posts, and use them to get traffic to your sales page or squeeze page. You can promote your blog posts through social sites like Delicious, Stumbleupon or Twitter, or use them as a landing page for your answer on Yahoo Answers.

7. Create a List

Having a list is not a guarantee, in itself, for making money. But if you can entice people to sign up to receive your e-mails, you have a great chance to build a long-term relationship with your readers, thus enabling you make money from your list.

Several ways to do this include sending your readers to your blog, where they would eventually click on your AdSense, or by simply recommending your own, or affiliate products to your list.
